Brief introduction of PI and the laboratory

For the past several years Dr. You has worked in the regulation mechanism and consequences of cell death in cancer cells and immune cells which induced by tumor necrosis factor family members. These studies are aimed at understanding the tissue homeostasis and cancer development in a variety of cell types. Current projects aim at developing molecular approach to understand how tumor formation and how cancer cell escape drug treatment. Some molecular biology and immune cell biology techniques like molecular cloning, reporter assay, RTqPCR, immunoprecipitation, western blot, ELISA and flow cytometry techniques are well established in our lab.
